Whether or not you celebrate Valentine’s Day 💕, you deserve a little tlc. Self love might look like treating your body to a nutritious and colourful breakfast that takes under 5 minutes to prepare. Mix stewed berries 🫐🍓 (I use frozen) with Greek yogurt or skyr over a whole grain toast, slathered with your favorite nut butter. 🌰
Sometimes all it takes to elevate a dish is the addition of herbs. I was having fun experimenting with my honeynut cashew pansotti recently and decided to try out laminating the pasta dough with some parsley. What are your thoughts?
You can take the girl out of Montréal, but you can take the sesame out of her food. 🏠That’s how the saying goes, right? Whole wheat black sesame sourdough ready for the oven tomorrow morning 🌞
Joyeux Noël 🎄 pour le réveillon on aura des truffes maison: des truffes au chocolat au lait, café et cardamome et aussi des truffes ganache chocolat noir avec du caramel beurre salé 🤤// Merry Christmas 🎄 this Christmas Eve, we’ll be having truffles: milk chocolate, coffee and cardamom along with dark chocolate, salted caramel flavours. Have a great celebration everyone! 🎊
Reminiscing about the cardamom snurres from Juno. Their legendary status is well deserved and worth the queue. Both flaky and chewy yeasted dough wrapped with sugar and coarsely ground cardamom. 🥲
It’s been a while 😬 I’ve been busy the passed couple of months starting my clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic here in Toronto 🥳 For those who love simple and quick recipes, I’m going to pivot towards more foundational recipes like this one: Honeynut squash soup with garlic rapini 🥣 Full disclosure, I used a homemade lobster stock as the base and the umami is through the roof on this one! 🤤
Open sesame sourdough loaf is ready for the week 🤤 Not bad for a first try!
Fish tacos 🌮 are on the menu this weekend with these breaded haddock fillets and all the veggies🌶️🥗🍅! I try to stretch my food as much as possible and this dish represents exactly that with sourdough breadcrumbs and an “everything slaw”. Featuring local and seasonal foods never looked better!
Crunchy with a softer centre, these cookies have it all. Because they're #gluten-free and #vegan, they're great for sharing. 👫👭👬
🌞With the weather getting warmer and the sunshine coming out, there's no better to time to enjoy a herbal and citrus cocktail to embrace these moments. 🍹
